J. Carsten Homes builds an average of 2 to 3 homes a year. President Jason Myrlie has always had a philosophy of having a personal relationship with each customer. Jason treats each project as if he were building or remodeling for himself. Each customer has full access to Jason himself via email and his personal cell phone. Many larger builders will force you to work with a job supervisor who has limited answers to your questions. This will never be the case with J. Carsten Homes.

J. Carsten Homes specializes on building on land customers already own or if necessary can assist in finding more specialized home sites for their custom-building requirements. We currently do not keep an inventory of lots. This keeps builder overhead down and ensures that customers are getting the most value for their money.

Jason Myrlie lives in Hastings. He and his wife Gina have 2 beautiful girls, Lauren 5 and Hanna 2. In his free time, Jason brews beer and enjoys golf, wood working, and Gopher Hockey.
